General questions
It's completely free! For sports associations, we don't charge any usage fees or commissions. This is a partner acquisition program focused on helping local clubs grow.
You can configure two options: (1) Automatic - players become members as soon as they make their first booking, or (2) Manual Approval - the association reviews and approves each new member. Legal and bureaucratic registration processes remain your responsibility.
That's up to you. You can set an annual fee (e.g., €5/year) that the association keeps 100%, or offer free membership in the first year as an incentive. LocalMatch doesn't charge commission on membership fees.
You can set minimum criteria. For example, you can require that the player spends at least the equivalent of the annual fee in bookings, or plays a minimum number of times, before becoming an official member with state benefits.
The platform provides a complete dashboard with all member data (respecting GDPR), including exportable reports that can be used for subsidy applications and reporting to federations.
Yes! The model respects Portuguese federation standards. The association maintains total control over who is approved as a member and all official documentation. LocalMatch only facilitates contact and management.
Member management
You can import an Excel or CSV file. The platform automatically maps fields such as name, email and phone. If you prefer, our team can handle the migration at no cost.
No. You can add members manually and manage everything on the platform. Members may create an account to see their history and pay fees online if they wish.
Yes. You can create unlimited categories with different fees, discounts and exemptions.
Each member receives a digital QR-code card that can be saved on a phone and used to validate entry to events or facilities.
Fees and payments
None on the association's amount. The association sets the net membership fee and receives it in full. The LocalMatch fee, VAT on that fee and payment processing cost are added and paid by the member. On the association side there is only the monthly subscription: 0 EUR, 29 EUR or 59 EUR.
Members can pay by MB WAY or card. The platform sends automatic reminders before the due date and notifications when a payment is overdue.
Payments are transferred monthly to the association's bank account. The minimum payout is 200 EUR on Free, 100 EUR on Pro and there is no minimum on Premium.
Yes. You can create one-off charges for events, equipment or competition registrations and send them to every member or selected groups.
Technical questions
No. The platform is designed to be intuitive. If you can use email and social media, you can use LocalMatch. Video tutorials and support are also available.
Yes. Pro and Premium plans let you add users with different permissions for finances, communications and other areas.
Yes. We use SSL encryption, servers in the European Union and comply with the GDPR. You can export all data at any time.
Yes. Google Calendar integration and Excel and PDF exports are available. Premium also includes an API for custom integrations.
